Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice
  • Paprika (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the eggs: Slice the hard-boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks. Place the yolks in a bowl and set the whites aside on a platter.
  • Mash the yolks: Use a fork, potato masher, or hand mixer to mash the yolks until they’re smooth and crumbly.
  • Add flavor: Stir in the mayonnaise, spicy brown mustard, and pickle juice. Keep mixing until the filling is creamy and well combined.
  • Fill the eggs: Use a piping bag or a spoon to fill the egg whites with the creamy yolk mixture.
  • Garnish: Sprinkle with paprika for a pop of color and a hint of flavor.

Notes

  • Perfect Boiled Eggs: To ensure the eggs are cooked perfectly, place them in cold water, bring to a boil, and then simmer for 10-12 minutes. Transfer the eggs to an ice water bath to stop the cooking process.
  • Customizable Filling: Adjust the filling to your liking! Add more pickle juice for extra tang, or a dash of hot sauce for a spicy kick. For a creamier texture, increase the amount of mayonnaise or add a little sour cream.
