Equipment

  • 1 Large bowl
  • 1 Cutting board

  • 1 Skillet or pan
  • 1 Small bowl and whisk

Ingredients

  • 5 ounces Fresh arugula, prewashed
  • 2 Anjou pears, cored and sliced into ¼-inch pieces
  • ½ cup Dried cranberries
  • ½ cup Walnuts, chopped and toasted

Maple Dressing

  • 3 tablespoons Water
  • 3 tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Make the dressing: In a small bowl, combine the water, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar. Whisk until everything is fully blended.
  • Prepare the salad: Place the prewashed arugula into a large bowl or your desired serving dish.
  • Prepare the pears: Slice each pear in half, remove the core, and then cut the halves into ¼-inch slices. Add them to the arugula.
  • Add the toppings: Toss in the dried cranberries and toasted walnuts. Gently mix the salad ingredients together.
  • Dress the salad: Pour the maple dressing over the salad and toss it lightly to coat the ingredients evenly.
  • Serve and enjoy: Your vibrant and flavorful salad is ready to be enjoyed!
